HOW TO MOUNT COINS IN A COIN SHADOW BOX

Shadow Box is a collection of memorable things and oftentimes it is framed. It is laden with items that has significant value to a person, like in the military, shadow box is used to personalize or framed their accomplishments, achievements or recipient’s service like medals, coins, and rings. This is to be displayed in their homes and underscores their past. So we will make a coin shadow box later, but first secure these materials below.
Materials needed:
• Coins
• Cardboard/ thin plastic can do
• Staple
• Glue gun
• Any correct size canvass as you preferred
• Marker
Step 1 – MAKE THE COIN HOLDER
Get a coin and cut a correct sized cardboard it should look like a rectangle. After, fold the rectangular cardboard in the center, then mark a circle on one side of the folded cardboard using the coin as the pattern but estimate that the circle you will make is smaller than the coin. Make a hole on the folded cardboard following the circular mark that you made, place the coin in between the fold of the cardboard so one side of the coin is visible on the center of the folded cardboard. Hold the top side down of the folded cardboard and staple it making sure that the coin is intact to where it was placed. Now label it as you want, then do it again as stated in step 1 until you can have the desired number of coins fixed on the cardboard.
Step 2 – FINISHING THE SHADOW BOX
Assuming that you have made 12 pieces of coins fixed on the cardboard. Get the canvass that you preferred and place the 12 coins and arranged it as you desired and glue it in place using the glue gun.
Step 3 – FRAMING IT
You are almost finished but it is up to you if you want it to be framed with wood or any plastic, it is your discretion in what to use. Just make it sure it is presentable and artistic.
